Security Information

One of our chief goals is to earn and keep your trust. We host Live Editor on a secure hosting infrastructure and work hard to make sure that your data is safe with us.

Secure data centers

Live Editor's physical infrastructure utilizes the Amazon Web Services (AWS) hosting service. Amazon continually manages risk and undergoes recurring assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards. Amazon’s data center operations have been accredited under ISO 27001, SOC 1/SSAE 16/ISAE 3402, PCI Level 1, FISMA Moderate, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).

For more information, see the AWS Security and Compliance Center.

Payment security

When you sign up for a paid account on Live Editor, we do not store any of your card information on our servers. Your information is handed off to Braintree Payment Solutions, a company dedicated to storing your sensitive data on PCI-compliant servers.

For more information, see Braintree Security Infrastructure.

Regularly-updated infrastructure

Live Editor runs on the Heroku platform. The platform protects customers from threats by applying security controls at every layer, from physical to application, isolating customer applications and data, and with its ability to rapidly deploy security updates without customer interaction or service interruption.

For more information, see Heroku Security.

Need to report a security vulnerability?

We appreciate your help in disclosing security vulnerabilities to us in a responsible manner. If you disclose a security vulnerability publicly, it could put the entire Live Editor community at risk. Instead, please send an email to security@liveeditorcms.com, and we will work with you to identify and address the issue.

Disclosing security findings to us responsibly allows us to address the issue without needing to seek legal action.
